Cute idea but not a very good learning tool. It doesnt really teach, just shows. And the free convo us ridiculous...it could be built upon. It has potential, but nothing to entice me to buy the full version.

Ive been using this app for about 3 months now and its still at the stage teaching me complements like " I think youre pretty" or " I think youre beautiful". Why isnt this app letting me go any further? :T

Can you make a study chat in Korean, please??

Seems like a really great idea to learn conversations in japanese. It has really helped me in my studies. The only thing is, when I forget what phrases were introduced, theres no way of finding the phrase... Other than replaying the level... Maybe a glossary can help? Plus, Ive noticed that most of the conversations have some type of flirting, not all, but most... Maybe more typical conversations like the weather? The describing people one was good.

Great conversation tool for japanese. I have to say I like this app and Im looking forward to more Improvements for this app. I suggest to have a list of phrases that is already taught through the conversation so that way people like me can refer back to the list for uses. Itll also be great if you had a korean and spanish versions!

I love this app! I give it 5 stars in hopes that they improve it by letting us see the sentences we learn so we can study them without having to go through the entire conversation over and over in hopes that we see one sentence we want to study!? Also the art is awesome. And overall the app is hilariously educational. Thanks!

But the Guy sounds and talks like a creep. Youre teaching people how to creep and that girls are just going to be okay with that. The responses for the female are atrocious, and dialogue often doesnt even make sense. Ive been studying japanese for some time and this is a big loss :(

Its a great app and slowly moves you forward, but every bloody time you move up and get far in the level if you close the app you have to restart from the beginning. Please fix this! I dont want to do the same conversations over and over. I want to continue from the last conversation I completed! 3 starts because of this. 5 starts if this bug gets fixed.

Even though you should be able to go back to the first thing you learned, it does not let you. Other than this problem, it deserves 5 stars.

The idea is great but it falls short. I like that it includes all the writing systems and learning by hearing is a good method, but it only teaches by memorization rather than true understanding. If they included definitions of the words it would improve significantly.

I LOVE this app. Please make one for learning French or Spanish! This is soo much fun! I have been using this to keep my conversation skills in check.

I learned NOTHING All u do is just tap along the screen and it goes to the next sentence it dont make u say the words or even record them It is a WASTE of time DO NOT DOWNLOAD

This app as well as the accompanying Scribe really do a get job and I highly recommend them if you want to learn Japanese! thank you!

Would have been better if it was optimized for the iPhone 4&4s :/. If you have either dont bother.

Im a beginner so Im not sure how linguistics types will feel but I enjoy the breakdowns and content of this app. I have used the Rosetta Stone program and find this simple to use app a great compliment to it. There are some obscure conversations that keep it lively and fun and core elements to the language as well. Overall, I consider it a very solid app to be used in conjunction with more thorough practice and application.

I have a background in Japanese and am just looking for something to refresh and continue my education. This app does NOTHING to teach. Seriously. It asks you to "pick the correct answer," but the only available answer is the correct one. Im pretty sure its impossible to get less than 100% on the quizzes; I tested this by just tapping without looking - what do you know? 100%

This is a great and fun way to learn, but there is only one option that pops up which is the correct answer and it doesnt help me to learn. Fix this please and Ill rate five stars easy :)
